Led by Dr. Yanmei Li, R&D center has an academic team of 60 persons with Ph.D, Master or Bachelor degrees, and 90% of them have Bachelor degree or above. Thanks to the consecutive research and new product development ability, technique and economic indexes of some products like licorice series, bilberry, and natural vitamin E have been ranked in the international pioneering level.
　　BGG is committed to the innovations and expansions in the new technique areas in order to own the ability to research and develop skills and products with full intellectual property. So far, BGG has 3 approved global patents and 6 pending patents.
　　Individually or by cooperation with the world famous pharmaceutical companies, BGG can undertake the new drug development tasks. Moreover, BGG can customize the products according to the requirements and demands of customers.
　　R&D center is responsible for the technology and art development, function and efficiency evaluation as well as patent application for the whole company. Additionally, its quality supervision and administrative management are progressively complete and mature.
　　Equipped with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, AAS, GC-MS, etc, the R&D center owns the advanced detection instruments and methods. By regularly updating analysis methods and improving the detection abilities to meet the increasingly stringent food/drug safety demands of advanced countries, BGG guarantees the safety and high efficiency of its products. Besides the active ingredients content analysis, product safety and applications are more concerned.

　　Special persons in the R&D center have been designated to systematically study and closely follow the changes and trends of international and domestic quality administration rules, and the product specifications were adjusted accordingly in a timely way.

　　Strict quality administration systems have been established to focus on the process control and to guarantee the customers’ full satisfaction.

　　Based on the consolidated technology framework, up-to-date instruments and advanced detection methods, the consecutive new product development and quality improvement have been greatly enhanced.

　　To further strengthen the R&D capability, close cooperations have been established with some top universities like Peking University Medical School, The Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Capital Medical University, Beijing Union University, Lanzhou University and Lanzhou Medical College.
